View of Frood Lake, Ontario

On the shores of Frood Lake, Willisville is a quaint small village with spectacular views of the lake. Franklin Carmichael’s lodge is still there, being restored to its originality of rustic logs. The well known painter used this base to create numerous paintings of Frood Lake and surrounding areas.

What an opportunity I had to traditionally paint where the Group of Seven once roamed this part of Ontario.
