View from Lawson Quarry

A spectacular popular view overlooking Frood Lake showing off its gorgeous rocks and trees. At that location is the dam that regulates the flow of the river at Whitefish Falls.

Franklin Carmichael’s cottage is on that Lake. Carmichael was a member of the well known Group of Seven artists.
